Warranty & Liability

1. Limited Warranty

2KR Systems, LLC ("2KR Systems," "we," "our," or "us") warrants SnowSentry/RoofBoss hardware against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers replacement of the defective product only. It does not cover the cost of removal, reinstallation, or shipping, which remain the customer's responsibility.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Misuse or abuse of the product;

  • Unauthorized modification of the product;

  • Installation that was not performed by qualified, trained personnel or was not approved by a licensed structural professional engineer; or

  • Use of the product beyond its rated capacity.

To make a warranty claim: contact us at info@2krsystems.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any item.

2. Product Installation and Use

SnowSentry/RoofBoss systems must be installed by qualified, trained personnel, and the installation must be approved by a licensed structural professional engineer. Installation, structural assessment, and ongoing building maintenance are the sole responsibility of the customer and their qualified personnel. 2KR Systems does not perform installation, construction, electrical work, or field service.

3. Not a Life-Safety System

SnowSentry/RoofBoss is a monitoring and alert tool. It is not life-safety equipment, and it is not intended to prevent injury, protect human life, or serve as the sole means of detecting hazardous structural or snow-load conditions. It does not guarantee against structural failure, snow load events, or property damage. Sensor readings, alerts, and dashboard data are provided for informational purposes only, and are not a substitute for professional structural inspection or engineering judgment. The customer remains responsible for determining the suitability of the product for its intended application and for all decisions made in response to, or independent of, system alerts.

4. Limitation of Liability

2KR Systems is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the installation, use, or failure of the product, including any damage, injury, or loss arising from a structural or snow-load event that the system did not detect or alert on. Our total liability for any claim related to a physical product is limited to the replacement of that product.
